Energy bites are one of my favorite portable snacks! My kids love them. The husband loves them. Full of protein, fiber, greens, healthy fats, and nutrient dense! No refined sugar. We make a lot of different variations of these around my house, but the chocolate peanut butter is always one of my favorites.
I use Vega brand protein powder because I’m simply in love with the company and their products. They are vegan, all natural, and very earth friendly.
7 All Natural Ingredients
- 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 scoop Vega Chocolate Protein & Greens
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (melt in micro 25 sec)
Mix them up! You may need to adjust consistency depending on your personal preference! If you need it to be stickier, add more peanut butter or honey! If you’re dedicated to keeping the recipe 100% vegan sourced, then please substitute maple syrup or agave for the honey! Enjoy!
