I AM IN LOVE with this smoothie! Sweet, creamy, and refreshing, it tastes like strawberry ice cream but this dreamy little impostor is much more nutritious! I use the Vega products for a lot of my edible adventures that require protein powder because, Number 1 – I like the company and what it stands for. Number 2, all natural ingredients loaded with nutrients, greens, omegas, probiotics, and low in calories. Number 3 – most other protein powders hurt my stomach but this one does not! Number 4 – creates a gorgeous work of art in the blender
Well, just kidding on that last one. But you have to admit, it’s at least an interesting picture, if not pretty!
Here’s the sweet and simple recipe for my Strawberry Vanilla Vegan Smoothie, enjoy!
Strawberry Vanilla Vegan Smoothie
1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk (I used Silk, Unsweetened Vanilla, 30 cal per serving)
1 scoop Vega All in One Vanilla
1 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Honey
Blend. Enjoy!
Different Options:
Additions: 1 tbsp chia seeds for a fiber and healthy fat boost, 2 pitted dates, or half a frozen banana
Substitutions: Coconut Oil, Avocado, or Almond Butter instead of PB
